in Sichuan is 1,153 Hectares, ranking second nationally.
Hence it is one of the three biggest forest zones in China
with 20.4% of forest coverage. Besides,Sichuan is the major
producer of the herbal medicine.
With 1,633 Hectares of pasture land, Sichuan is one of the
five largest forest zones in China.
There are 1,100 species of animal resources in Sichuan,
accounting for 50% of China's total.
The unique natural condition and long history and brilliant
culture have crowned Sichuan with rich scenic spots and
places of historical interests. The provincial tourism resources
top the list nationwide:38 historical and cultural cities,
21 scenic spots at the national and provincial level and
